How we work
Your need for a senior interim manager might result from a sudden crisis, an unexpected
opportunity, a restructuring, or the need to resource a planned project. Equally, a key
member of your team could be taking maternity leave or a sabbatical.
Whatever the reason, we can provide an interim manager to meet your needs and to make
a positive difference to your business – over a period as short as 2-3 months or as long
as a year, sometimes more.
Interregna's senior executives rapidly build a productive relationship with you and
your team. We always offer you an interim manager rather than interim consultant. While
our people provide the same clarity and insight as an external consultant, they bring you
hands-on managerial skills and a powerful sense of accountability. Once in place, they
report exclusively to you, the client, and assume the managerial responsibilities you
assign them.
What does interim management cost?
Interregna interim management provides a cost-effective answer to your needs. Your
interim manager will work at a day-rate that compares realistically to the pro rata
salary for an executive of similar calibre – remember you don't have to factor in costs
such as recruitment fees, pension, N.I. and benefits (eg car, holidays, sick leave,
health insurance).
Interregna works on a 'no win, no fee' basis: we will not charge you for taking your
interim management brief or for researching, short-listing and presenting candidates.
We simply take a percentage of the interim manager’s day-rate.
Taking your brief
Whether you provide us with a full job description, or a shorter verbal brief, we will soon get the picture of the kind of interim manager you need.
We will need to know:
- Why the need for an interim manager has arisen
- The specification for the role. Is it an existing job – or a new position/project? If there is no full job description, broad parameters are helpful
- The key objectives, targets and expectations – especially in the short-term
- The scale of the role – responsibilities, budgets, staff reports
- The expertise and experience needed from the ideal interim manager
- The anticipated duration on the assignment and the remuneration budget available
- Your business: ownership (plc/private etc); turnover; staff numbers
- Principal activities of the company/division
- Key locations and sites
- Corporate culture, including any special requirements and sensitivities
We never charge our clients for taking a brief. Why not email us or phone us now on 020 8940 8078? We can soon find the right interim management candidate for you.
