Interregna’s role in the Interim Management Association
Interregna’s Managing Director, Malcolm Alexander, has presented his first report to the Interim Management Association in his new role as Director of External Affairs (previously Malcolm was the IMA’s Treasurer).
Malcolm says “These are exciting times for our industry. Recruitment professionals in all sectors are facing increased legislative pressure, not only from the much publicised age discrimination legislation (covered elsewhere in this newsletter) but also from several directives making their way slowly through Brussels such as the Agency Workers Directive and the Working Time Directive.
“It is my duty on behalf of the IMA to liaise with other professional organisations in order to lobby for a fair and equitable recruitment industry- to ensure that the rights of professional talent are protected whilst similarly ensuring that interim management remains a viable option for our corporate client base.”
