Interregna at the IMA
Interregna Managing Director, Malcolm Alexander continues to play a key role in the Interim Management Association, being re-elected as Director of External Affairs in April. In his second year of office, Malcolm aims to strengthen the IMA’s relationships with key bodies, including government, the CBI and the European Union. He says “Whilst companies like Interregna are an essential interface between corporations and interim talent, the IMA very much stands for the interim management industry as a whole. That includes an obligation to make representations on behalf of interim providers and interim managers themselves.
“In the last Budget, the basic rate of Income Tax may have been reduced, but Small Companies tax- paid by the vast majority of interim managers- will be raised over the next three years from 19% to 22%. This can be expected to hit interim managers, and it is these issues we wish to highlight.”
